 Sand Art Kit Fairy - Intermediate
The fairy is mounted on 2mm screenboard and includes a card stand for easy display. The kit includes bamboo lifters, colored sand and glitter. Illustrated instructions for this project are available to download free. See the project information page. The fairy illustrated uses a variety of colors. The kit includes the sand in the following colours White , Brown , Sky Blue, Red, Purple, Dark Green , fluorescent green, light green, fluorescent pink, fluorescent orange, Gold, Yellow, Glitter Sand Art picture Craft Kits are the perfect craft kits for kids, teenagers and adults. Sand art pictures are made by using colored sand on adhesive card. Your chosen design is cut into paper on top of the card. These cut sections are removed one piece at a time and sprinkled with sands of different colors. Sounds easy - it is. The adhesive is already on the pre-cut card, which means No Gluing and No Mess. Just peel the picture in stages, sprinkle with coloured sand and you’re done. A perfect picture! Intermediate sand art picture craft kits have designs with some small pieces in the design which are better suited to kids over 8 years of age or extra help from an adult. Younger children are recommended to start with a beginner kit which has large pieces which can be easily lifted using a bamboo lifter. White sand should always be used last. 1. Place your card on top of paper to catch the excess sand. 2. Lift a cut section using the tip of your bamboo and slowly peel off the first area. Take care not to lift adjoining areas. For small sections use a pin 3. Now choose a colour and pour it over the sticky area. Turn the card over and tap it on the back to remove the excess sand. ****Repeat the pouring process on the same area to obtain a darker shade. 4. Peel off the next area. Pour a different colour and repeat the motion until the image is completely peeled off and coloured. See Also
